Applications are now sought from eligible Judo NSW members for Dan Grade promotion. Dan Grade Applications Close Fri 17 November 2017.
DAN GRADING TECHNICAL EXAMINATION (SUN 26 NOV)
For those who have applied and meet the criteria to be examined for Dan grade promotion.
The Dan Grading will consist of the following components commencing at 9:00AM:
Please note that Dan Gradings are a formal judo event with higher expectations around behaviour and etiquette displayed between judoka.
All Judo NSW applicants are reminded to be on-time and to present in a clean white (only) judogi.
Candidates and observers are also requested to be quiet when both approaching and in the Judo NSW Centre while other grading activities are be undertaken.
Technical Exam will commence following the completion of the Batsugun and Kata Examination.
An area of the mat will be made available for any judoka to finalise preparation for their DAN Grading & KATA while the Batsugun is being conducted.
Open to all currently registered 1st Kyu judoka for instant promotion to Sho Dan.
‘Early-Bird’ Rate ($15) applies until Fri 17 November 2017.
Please note the Batsugun will be conducted subject to entries received (ie the event will be cancelled if there are an insufficient number of competitors).
All successful BATSUGUN applicants must also provide the completed DAN Grading Application and DAN Grading Fee to enable processing of the DAN Grade.
