Physical strength is also enhancedd as a direct result of trying to control and dictate the movement of both yourself and your opponent. Additionally Judo also progresses the balance, flexibility and posture of a player as their physical co-ordination and reflexes continue to develop.
Judo NSW also has a highly-motivating and rewarding non-competitive grading scheme which ensures you receive expert coaching and tuition to ensure you maintain ongoing progress and development. Additionally there are a range of competitive events and athlete pathways for all levels of judoka from novices to veteran black belts.
Judo boasts in its ability to be practiced by all ages and involves official weight categories for senior judo players who choose to compete from -48kg to +78kg for women and -60kg to +100kg for men.
