As part of our 4 year strategic plan, Judo NSW is trying to encourage and identify the future leaders of Judo as well as develop their skills
It’s a critical factor in maintaining the long term health of our organisation.
To that end, we’re asking all of our coaches to nominate ‘potential future leaders’ (aged 18-30) of our sport, with a focus on those who have an:
- Interest in club management and administration
- Interest in sports administration or tournament management
- Interest in coaching
There are a limited number of places (10) and the market value of the course (in corporate world) is over $5000 (tip: it’s free for successful nominees). The full day course will be run at Sports House in Olympic park on Sunday October 13th.
The program is as follows:
The Mindful Leader Program is a powerful one-day leadership program bringing together the latest developments in Neuroscience, Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence. Leaders who practise mindfulness, and apply mindfulness techniques to their leadership of others, are better equipped to cope with everyday leadership challenges and create high performance in others.
If you have someone who you think might suit, please nominate them here. Nominations close 15th of September. Nominees will be screened by the Judo NSW board.
