The time has come to once again arise and showcase your club to the world.

Hajime: Challenge Accepted is an event that announces to the world that Judo is alive and well in NSW and that your club makes a huge contribution to that success.

Scheduled for the evening of Saturday, 28 November 2020, Hajime: Challenge Accepted will be live-streamed, with commentary provided by two of our top-performing Judoka. Of course, we will have a COVID Safety Plan in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of our competitors and officials.

Hajime: Challenge Accepted is a weighted, senior team event. Each team should be made up of:

  • 5 people
    • 3 male members: U 73 kg, U 90 kg and + 90 kg
    • 2 female members: U 57 kg and + 57 kg
  • Green belt and above
  • Maximum 1 black belt member

While this is team event; it doesn’t need to be a club event. If your club doesn’t have enough people to fill a team, talk to other clubs and combine to provide your members with valuable competition experience. The more teams; the merrier the rivalry.

Please let the Tournament Committee know by Friday 30 October that you’re putting up (or interested in putting up) a team by contacting Kathy Meyer ([email protected]).

More details will be provided closer to the event.

Accept the challenge, showcase your club and watch your team compete in the first live-streamed Hajime: Challenge Accepted event.
