Budokan Mons and Junior Tournament

2023 BUDOKAN MONSter & JUNIOR TOURNAMENT – Sunday 6th August 2023

 Entry on the day: Entry to this event will be available on the day. Cash only please.

There is no pre-entry available for this competition.

Weight divisions: Will be determined on the day to maximise division sizes. Normal

weight divisions are listed below but these may be adjusted on the day to make up viable

divisions.

Entry Fee: $25.00 per player. Spectators Free

MONS – Weigh-in – 9am – 9:30am

Eligibility: Must turn 6, 7 or 8 in 2023 i.e. born in 2015, 2016, or 2017

NOVICE Belt colours: White Yellow, White Yellow with Black Tip

GRADED Belt colours: Yellow belt and higher

Indicative Weight divisions (weight divisions will be determined after weigh-ins):

Girls/Boys – U21, U24, U27, U31, U35, U40, U45, O45kg

JUNIOR BOYS/GIRLS – Weigh-in – 10.30am – 11.00am

Eligibility: Must turn 9, 10 or 11 in 2023 i.e. born in 2012, 2013 and 2014

NOVICE Belt colours: White Yellow, White Yellow with Black Tip, Yellow, Yellow

with Black Tip, Yellow Orange, Yellow Orange with Black Tip

GRADED Belt colours: Orange belt and higher

Indicative Weight divisions (weight divisions will be determined after weigh-ins):

Girls – U29, U32, U36, U40, U44, U48, U52, O52kg

Boys – U27, U30, U34, U38, U42, U46, U50, O50kg

ALL ATHLETES MUST HAVE A WHITE JUDOGI

A raffle, barbecue and canteen will be running on the day.

Special prizes will be awarded to players at the end of the competition.

These include Best Spirit, Best Ne-Waza, Best Throw, Player of the Day.

or from Carrington St via Doran Drive. It is now also very easy to travel to Budokan via rail

with the club only 200m walk from the Showground Metro Station
