Sydney Interclub Competition Series

As a beginner, it’s easy to lose a match quickly — Competition can be unforgiving 😅

These experiences don’t provide the technical development necessary for everyone involved.

More often than not, those you’re competing against in a regular competition are more experienced, competition focused, and want to win at all costs.

UTS Judo and Judo Matsu have established the Interclub Competition Series to provide competitive experiences that would shape the skill development of yellow, orange, and green belts.

The competition philosophy is built upon delivering equivalent challenges. We believe that your learning is enhanced by experiences that afford the opportunity to test your skills under fair conditions, even if you’re new to the sport. It’s a fair test when you’re matched with opponents of similar experience in grade, relative weight, and even your aptitude for competition, with judoka from other clubs across Sydney. Conditions where you can apply your skills, take risks, and learn from your mistakes.

Here is what it is:

🥋Yellow, orange, and green.
⚖️ Equivalent match-ups
🥊 Minimum of two fights
🤝 Exposure to a variety of judoka
🎓 Competition education

Register early – Every entry helps to build the experience for people, providing more matchups and more fights.

The competition and event is open judoka from all clubs in NSW. We welcome everyone to enter.
