This is to encourage clubs in this unprecedented time of temporary club closure to nominate for the 2020 NSW Community Sports Awards.
Our Judo community has a large number of volunteers that selflessly contribute to our sport of Judo and without these volunteers our sport would simply not be able to operate.
I am hoping you can step back from the evolving C-19 crisis to consider some worthy Judo nominees for these community grassroots sports awards.
There are ten annual awards, plus the Distinguished Long Service Award. Please note that Judo NSW has already identified its nominee for the 2020 Distinguished Long Service Award.
All nominations (one per category) for these ten awards need to be endorsed by the relevant State Sporting Organisation (Judo NSW). Please click here to view and download the 2020 NSW Community Sports Awards Guidelines.
You will need to submit the award nomination information to Judo NSW ([email protected]) by Sunday 26 April 2020 to enable us to review and confirm endorsement of your nomination(s).
We will then confirm endorsement so you can complete the nomination process with Sport NSW by midnight on Sunday, 3 May 2020.
