Notice of the cancellation
We have had advice from Associate Professor Ian Marshall, the Director of University Health Service stating that, “As the COVID-19 epidemic continues to escalate in Australia it is likely that person to person transmission will become the main means of infection, rather than people bringing the infection from overseas. Close contact sports such as judo would, I think, be seen as high risk activity for this to occur”. He continues with, “I would advise cancelling your training sessions because of the higher risk of transmission of infection.”
In light of this, we are doing our utmost to provide our members with accurate information and for the sake of our club community and the wider community, we will take this action to minimise the risk of potentially spreading this virus.
We will keep you notified of any further updates and in addition, when the club will reopen. ... See MoreSee Less
Thats actually what we did in Italy with our judo club 🙌 Stay safe! 👍👍❤️
Just a reminder that trial classes are at a discounted rate of $6.50 for this week and the next.
Also, we will be heading to the Royal Hotel (Pub next to ABS) after training (approx. 7:45PM) this Thursday to welcome everyone to the club. If you lose the crowd just meet us upstairs at the royal. Food and drinks will be provided so definitely stick around.
