Sport NSW is delighted to celebrate National Volunteer Week with the announcement of our 2021 NSW Community Sports Awards finalists. Thanks to the support of Sport NSW members and the NSW sporting public, over 150 nominations were submitted, recognising the outstanding achievements and contributions of community coaches, officials, administrators and organisations over the past year.

Judo NSW finalists are:

Community Official – Deepali Mistry

Community Coach – David Groom

Community Event – Central Coast Regional Open

Sport NSW is also pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the prestigious Distinguished Long Service Awards for those that have given exceptional service to their sport for over 25 years.

The Judo NSW Sport NSW Distinguished Long Service Award for 2021 is Dale Keogh (Life Member Judo NSW).

The winners of the awards will be revealed at a special ceremony on Thursday, 17 June 2021. The presentation ceremony will be hosted by the Hon. Dr Geoff Lee MP, Acting Minister for Sport, who will also present the recipients of the Sport NSW Distinguished Long Service Award with special recognition for their exceptional service to sport.
